We want to make our St. Bernard-Elmwood Place families aware of an opportunity for free meals during the summer. The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Public Library is providing free meals to anyone ages 1-18 through the summer. 7 dinners and 7 snacks are provided per box and the food is shelf-stable and ready to eat. Youth do not need to be present to receive a food box.
Food pick-up takes place at the St. Bernard Library, 10 McClelland Avenue, or Elmwood Library, 6120 Vine Street, Mondays between 3-5 pm while supplies last (closed Memorial Day, meals distributed Tuesday, June 1).
Additional details can be found here: https://cincinnatilibrary.org/services/meals/
The service is made possible through federal funding, as part of the USDA’s Child and Nutrition Program, and in partnership with UMC Food Ministry.
