Welcome to St. Bernard-Elmwood Place City Schools

Dear Titan Families:

Early this morning, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Schools and St. Bernard Police were made aware of a social media post suggesting threats of violence against a list of local Cincinnati area schools, with some iterations of this post including St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Schools.

This threat was not specific to any building. Please be assured that local law enforcement officials, including the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and FBI Intel units, are conducting a thorough investigation into this cyber threat.

Out of an abundance of caution, St. Bernard- Elmwood Place City Schools will have an increased police presence on our campus, Thursday, September 5, 2024. Each building has been checked and will be checked again throughout the day for anything suspicious.

We will continue to take all threats against our schools seriously, and disciplinary action will be taken if necessary and appropriate. Please continue to help us keep our schools safe by reporting all safety concerns to a trusted adult or to law enforcement. If you or your child has information regarding any threat against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place City Schools or its students or staff, please contact the school or the St. Bernard Police Department.

Once again, we deeply appreciate the support we have received from our local law enforcement agencies and the cooperation of our teachers, staff, and students in keeping our buildings safe. We also appreciate and rely on the helpful support of our school families.

Thank you,

Dr. Mimi R. Webb
