Lindsey Louis Honored at Celebrate Excellence Event

SBEP teacher Lindsey Louis was honored today at the Hamilton County Education Foundation's Celebrate Excellence event. This annual event recognizes outstanding educators chosen by public school districts within the county.

Lindsey Louis is a passionate leader and advocate in special education whose influence spans the entire St. Bernard-Elmwood Place School District. As the K-12 Special Education Department Chair, she supports teachers, guides individualized instruction, and ensures students with unique needs have every opportunity to succeed. She leaves no stone unturned to guide and support special education teachers, who depend on her expertise, knowledge, and strategies to include and accommodate the unique needs of our students. Mrs. Louis also leads the district's credit recovery program and mentors new educators through the RESA Mentorship Program. Through her leadership, she has helped mold our next generation of educators, providing wisdom and guidance that not only bolsters instructional quality, but also builds teacher retention in our district. 

We were proud to have the opportuntity to select Mrs. Louis for this award. Thank you for all the great work you do for us.
