Parents of Young Children

This page contains resources for parents with young children that may be in need of assistance.

  • Are you at risk of losing your child through JFS involvement? Every Mother's Advocate is here to help. Connect with EMA at https://www.citylinkcenter.org/mother-advocacy/.
  • If you are a single parent pursuing a college degree, The Cincinnati Scholar House provides an affordable housing community designed to provide a stable living and learning environment for single parents and their children. Learn more at https://hercincinnati.org/blogs/news/cincinnati-scholar-house.
  • Moms & Babies First is Ohio’s Black Infant Vitality Program that helps to reduce the number of low-birth-weight babies, infant deaths, and sickness within the ethnic communities of Hamilton County. Their Certified Community Health Workers conduct regularly-scheduled home visits, educating parents on prenatal and postpartum care, along with information/education on toddler health and care through age one. Learn more at https://www.healthymomsandbabes.org/our-programs.
