Families of children ages 3-5 years might be eligible for a no-cost preschool program. St. Bernard-Elmwood Place School District is partnered with the Hamilton County ESC to provide a comprehensive preschool program for income-eligible children. It includes a developmentally appropriate school readiness program, nutritious meals, and health, speech, language, and hearing screenings.
The full-day county-run program is available Monday-Thursday at St. Bernard Elementary School, at 4515 Tower Avenue, Monday through Thursday.

There is also Early Head Start available for income-eligible children from birth to 3 years, including a comprehensive in-home program, weekly visits with a qualified Home Educator, and parent/child socialization activities.
