No School for Students on February 14th

No School for Students on February 14th
Dear Parents and Guardians,

My priority always has been to keep St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Schools open.  Throughout the pandemic, I have worked collaboratively with the Board, staff, county health agencies, and community to ensure we remained open in a safe manner for our students.

On January 29, 2022, the Cincinnati Bengals won the right to go to the Super Bowl, and fans in Greater Cincinnati cheered.  The next day, calls came pouring into superintendents around the area pleading that we designate February 14, 2022, a "no-school" holiday.  After all, it has been 33 years since the last time the Bengals went to the big game.

Having conferred with many of my fellow superintendents around the Greater Cincinnati area, I have decided we will celebrate this special occasion with a "No Students" day on February 14, 2022.

Again, no students will report to school on February 14, 2022, however, teachers and staff will report to work that day.

Sincerely,

Mimi R. Webb
