An outstanding season of football continues for the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Titans. This past Friday, they defeated the Dayton Christian Warriors 54-0, securing their first-ever OHSAA playoff victory. With the win, their record is now an all-time best of 9-2 on the season.
New standards are being set with every new game. The Titans have surpassed season records in wins and points scored.
Several players now hold individual records as well. Lucas Cannady holds the records for single-season passing yards, single-season passing touchdowns, career passing yards, career passing touchdowns, and passing touchdowns in a game.
Damien Dawson is SBEP's all-time leader in receiving yards and single-season receiving touchdowns.
Demico Harris has broken records for single-season rushing touchdowns, career rushing touchdowns, single-season rushing yards, career rushing yards, and career tackles. He also holds records in various all-purpose categories, including all-purpose yards in a season, career all-purpose yards, and all-purpose touchdowns in both a single season and throughout his career.
