Last week, the Cincinnati Enquirer nominated the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Titans in several categories for their weekly high school Athletes of the Week reader polls. The team as a whole was nominated for the "Ohio football team" category and player Damien Dawson was one of several "Ohio small-school football player" entrants.

Damien Dawson will have another chance to win a poll, as he has been nominated once again as a candidate for the Ohio small-school football player of the week. Dawson had a fantastic game against Portsmouth West this past Friday, as he caught three touchdowns, intercepted two passes, and ran a kickoff back 73 yards for a touchdown.
