We would like to wish the Madeira Amazons good luck tomorrow as they play in the OHSAA Division V State championships for girls varsity soccer.
Titans Emily Blevins and Dior Phelps-Patterson have been showing up to support the Amazons as they've advanced through the playoffs. Blevins noted that Madeira’s players had a positive attitude and displayed great sportsmanship when the teams faced each other during the season. This, combined with the fact that former SBEP athletic director Chris O’Brien is now with Madeira, inspired her to make signs and attend Amazons games to cheer them on. It’s been amazing to see a relationship like this form between the schools.
