Mission Statement: To support effective learning in the schools, the School - Based Health Center addresses student and family physical, social and emotional well-being.

The School-Based Health Center has the overall goal to improve the mental and physical health and educational success of students who attend the elementary, middle and high schools of St. Bernard-Elmwood Place City School District. Additionally, in order to respond to community needs, we have the goal of providing primary care services to all residents of the two communities.

May 10 was the EPE school-wide "GROW A SALAD" Day sponsored by the School-Based Health Center and the Master Gardeners. All students prepared cups and planted seeds for vegtables and edible flowers. The seeds will be sprouted and planted in a garden at the school on June 1st.
