Picture of WWII veteran who received his diploma at the age of 91Dr. Webb presented Bob Bockelman, 91-year-old WWII veteran with his high school diploma on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.  Mr. Bockelman, originally from St. Bernard, left school as a junior to volunteer in World War II.  After returning from war he earned his GED, however, one of his biggest regrets was not receiving his high school diploma.  St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Schools, Florence Assisted Living, and the non-profit Second Wind Dreams joined forces to make his dream a reality. Congratulations Mr. Bockelman and thank you for your service!
