St. Bernard-Elmwood Place City Schools

Students attending the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place City School District will have an opportunity to be screened and/or tested for gifted identification based on a referral from you and/or your child’s teachers.  Please note, all students in grades 3, 5, 8, and 10 will be tested, so referrals are not necessary for students in those grades. 

If you believe your child may be gifted (please see the attachments for gifted characteristics and identification tests), please complete the referral form and return it to the building administrator.

Although the State of Ohio does not require schools to provide services, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place City School District is making a commitment to serve students who are identified as gifted as soon as the identification process is completed.   A meeting to inform parents of the program will be scheduled in the near future.
